Sydney Charles PAGE was born in North Adelaide, South Australia on 30th July, 1879
He was one of 13 children to Charles PAGE and Emily Eliza PERRYMAN
He enlisted on 17th February, 1916 in Adelaide and embarked with the 3 Pioneer Battalion, D Company from Melbourne on the HMAT Wandilla on 6th June, 1916
He was wounded on 1st June 1918 with shell wounds to his abdomen and transferred to the Casualty Clearing Station
Sydney died from his wounds on 15th June, 1918 and was buried in Crouy British Cemetery. His name is memorialised on the Australian War Memorial
