"MR. F. S. LARG

Mr. Francis Stewart Larg, aged 44, who died at his residence in Durham-street, Carlton, on Sunday, was one of the original Anzacs, and as a member of the 4th Battalion, A.I.F., he was wounded on the second day after the landing at Gallipoli. He was a member of the Hurstville Masonic Lodge, Hurstville Royal Arch Chapter, and the Rose of Rockdale Druids' Lodge. For the past six years he had been caretaker and caterer for lodges at the Hurstville Masonic Hall. He was a native of Dundee, Scotland. He has left his wife and a daughter. A service was conducted at the Woronora Crematorium by the Rev. R. M. Leghorn." - from the Sydney Morning Herald 08 Sep 1936 (nla.gov.au)
