Son of Arnold John and Augusta Elizabeth Eyles of Ryde Street, Carlingford, New South Wales.

At the time of his death he was a late resident of Concord, New South Wales and was survived by his wife Williama and children Arnold and Constance, mother and sister Enid Weaver.
