Embarkation Roll (www.awm.gov.au) has incorrectly recorded spelling of Christian Names as PHILLIP LORNA

"...6039 Private Philip Lorne Boden Leeming, 4th Battalion, of Sydney, NSW. Prior to enlistment Pte Leeming was employed as a grocer in Sydney, NSW. He embarked with the 19th Reinforcements on HMAT Wiltshire (A18) on 22 August 1916.He served on the Western Front and in early 1918 he was wounded. He was admitted to 1st Eastern General Hospital on 2 January 1917 with a severe shrapnel wound to the back which he received between Strazeele and Merris, France. Records indicate that he died on 16 April 1918 and is memorialised at Villers-Bretonneux Australian National Memorial, France." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)

His parents were Richad Caleb LEEMING & Emma Jane YEATES who married in Sydney in 1876

He married Isabel Elenor CRANE in Sydney in 1912 - 3 known children, Philip Henry Caleb, Kenneth William & Harold Arnold
