Next or kin initially given as his uncle Samuel Horricks but was later changed to a friend Dorris Dapper of 25 Bellevue Terrace, Fremantle, WA

Son of Charles Swanson and Mary (nee Horricks) Swanson  Book/Page 389/303. Birth name given as Neil William Swanson same Book/Page number, Some documents have his parents listed as William and Louisa Swanson but cannot find any confimation of the latter. There are some indications that William and Louisa may be his  maternal uncle and aunt
