"THE LATE PRIVATE L. F. DILLON
The late Private Leslie Frank Dillon, who was killed in action at the Dardanelles, was the only son of Mr. John Dillon, of Constantia, Houghton, and formerly of Millbrook. He was among the first lot of Australians to land at Gallipoli. He had been reported missing for some time, but later information was received stating that he was killed. He was 22 years of age and of a bright and genial disposition. He was an active member of the Para Quartet Club." - from the Adelaide Chronicle 21 Aug 1915 (nla.gov.au)
