Son of Thomas Quirk and Anastasia Quirk of 'Messina', Leichhardt Street, Waverley, NSW.
At the time of enlistment he was employed by the Government Savings Bank of NSW as a Conveyancer.
Commenced return to Australia on 7 February 1919 aboard HT Lancashire disembarking on 24 March 1919 at Melbourne for onward travel to Sydney.
Medals: British War Medal, Victory Medal.
During 1920c Thomas married Eileen G. Ferris in Waverley, NSW
