Born as Henry Samual James Verner. Tended to swap between both identities as the whim took.
Son of Henry James Samuel Verner and Mary Ann Verner nee Barnes of 'Lyndon', Horace Street, Malvern, Victoria.
Commenced return to Australia on 27 September 1918 aboard HT Runic disembarking on 17 November 1918 at Fremantle, WA for onward travel to Melbourne
