Born August Amos Robert BRANDT, son of Albert BRANDT and Catherine nee WILLIAMS

Mr. August R. Brandt, who died at Kooringa on Monday, after a severe illness, was 40 years of age. He was the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Brandt, old residents of Burra. Mr. Brandt was born at Kooringa, and with the exception of his war service, spent the whole of his life in Burra. He enlisted for active service with the 3rd Light Horse in 1914. and saw the campaign right through, in 1924 he married Miss Beryl Goldsworthy who is left with three young children.
