10 March 1916 - Charged with disobeying lawful command from a spuerior officer in that he ordered to parade with his platoon at an out post he failed to do so. Sentence 2 years imprisonment with hard labour

29 May 1916 - Returned to Australia on Seang Bee as prisoner for Court Martial
