Son of Frederick William NEANDER and Hannah nee LOWRIE of Dayle Street, Port Adelaide, SA

Mr. F.W. Neander, of Dale Street, Port Adelaide, has been notified that his son, Lce-Cpl. L.C. Neander died of wounds at the 45th Casualty Clearing Station in France on February 26.  Lce-Cpl. Neander was born at Port Adelaide, and was 19 years of age on May 24 last.  He was educated at the chief seaport, and went to the front in August 1915 with reinforcements from Queensland.  He was engaged in farming pursuits prior to enlistment.
