The death of Corporal John Dadson
The sad news of the death of Corporal John Dadson was conveyed to his mother at Bangor by the Rev. W. Greenwood. Private Dadson soon after reaching England had the misfortune to break his leg. When well enough he was engaged in rural work in France and only rejoined his company two months previous to his death. Jack, as he was familiarly known, was a great favourite with his chums and the greatest sympathy is expressed for his relatives. Mrs Dadson has another son on active service, Lieutenant Leslie Dadson, who lately was awarded the Military Cross for distinguished bravery. Roll of Honour. Examiner. 1 November 1917.
