Son of Robert John Ussher and Mary A. Jane Ussher of 'Araluen', Lindsay Street, Neutral Bay, NSW formerly of Taree, NSW.

Commenced return to Australia on 8 May 1916 aboard HS Themistocles disembarking on 19 June 1916 at Melbourne for onward travel to Sydney.
