Address at the time of enlistment was given as Jesmondine Bay Road, North Sydney, NSW.
Son of Robert John Ussher and Mary A. Jane Ussher of 'Araluen', Lindsay Street, Neutral Bay, NSW formerly of Taree, NSW.
Commenced return to Australia on 8 May 1916 aboard HS Themistocles disembarking on 19 June 1916 at Melbourne for onward travel to Sydney.

During 1916c Cornelius married Beryl B. Palmer in St. Leonards, NSW. Father of Ronald Arthur Fermage Ussher
