Nicknamed Aussie Jack because even though he was RN and a 'Pom', he married An Australian and was therefore no longer a pom but an Aussie in the crew's eyes.

Son of Mr and Mrs H Bacon of Middlesex England and Wife to Nyra (Nee) Dalton of Orange NSW in Australia. Children ?

Also Listed on HMAS Sydney Memorial Geraldton Western Australia,Orange War Memorial ,Orange NSW,Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm Memorial UK and Sydney City Memorial. A Church in Middlesex has a Stain Glass Window and a Memorial Listing for His Name on a Wall which was Organised  by His Parents and His Fathers Employer 'Barclays Bank' after the War.
