Son of Francis Jand Christina BURSILL, 184 Denison Street, Camperdown, NSW
Oliver served in Egypt and France and was wounded at the Sommme, Pozieres 24 July 1916 and invaliced to Newport Hospital, Wales. After recovering he rejoined his unit but was wounded on a second occastion at Bullecourt on 5th May 1917 and returned to Australia and discharded as medically unift in August 1918.
