Son of Thomas Vigor and Jane Vigor nee Cameron of Blackwood, Victoria.

Commenced return to Australia on 12 July 1919 aboard HT City of Essex disembarking on 24 August 1919.

Medals: British War Medal, Victory Medal

He death was attributed to carbon monoxide poisoning. An inquest was held in Melbourne on 24 August 1966 in relation to multible deaths of which Arthur was one.

Result: - Cause of death : Effects by burning, Carbon monoxide poisoning from electric radiator combustion fire, Burns and asphyxiation when an electric radiator he was using overturned and ignited premises, Cardiac failure precipitated by smoke and gas inhalation from electric radiator combustion fire; Location of hearing : Melbourne
