Son of John and Caroline Foster; husband of Mrs. Florence Mary Foster of Garget Street, Toowoomba. Father of Florence Emily Foster, Elsie Ada Foster and Ethel Edith Foster

26 January 1916 - Charged with being AWOL and drunk in the lines, Fined 1 day's full pay

10 September 1916 - to hospital with a septic hand

Medals: 1914-15 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal

Also served in India with the British Army's Cheshire Regiment
