Son of Sigmund Israel Villiers and Sarah Ann Lester formerly Villiers nee Deakes of Knot Street, Double Bay, NSW. Brother of Albert Emil Villiers who return to Australia on 29 January 1919 having served with the 1st Battalion
Commenced return to Australia on 12 October 1918 aboard HT Port Lyttleton disembarking on 25 December 1918 at Melbourne for onward travel to Sydney
