George Henry Henningsen was the son Anne Kirstine Neilsen Henningsen. 

He was raised in Gosnells, Perth until his mother married James Munday a farmer in Marradong. Together Anne and James went on to have four further children together whilst still raising the children born from James first marriage.

George married Myrtle Mary Jennings in Harvey WA in 1922 the couple had 5 children.  Their second born Gladys Myrtle died in 1925 at less than a year old.  Their only son (twin to Thelma Irene) died at birth.
