8 Dec 1918:	Honoured Distinguished Conduct Medal, "The Last Hundred Days", For conspicuous gallantry and gallantry in the advance near Morcourt, east of Corbie, on 8 August 1918. The section commander was severely wounded and the tank carrying the guns and section knocked out by a direct hit. Sergeant Sinclair removed all the wounded from the tank then gathering the survivors got the guns and gear from the burning tank and rushed them forward under very heavy shell and machine gun fire taking up positions in the final objective and giving covering fire to the advancing infantry. By his bravery and promptness he greatly assisted the advance and saved many casualties.
