Enlisted at Holdsworthy, Sydney 1 November 1915 aged 18 years and 1 month.
Arrived France front from Egypt 1 August 1916.
Wounded 15 November 1916 by shell fire and gas attack in the battle of Gueudecourt.
D.O.W. 24 Nov 1916 at 1ST Australian Field Hospital, Rouen.
Buried at St Sever Cemetery Extension, Rouen, France.
WILLIAMS.—November 21, 1916, in hospital, France, of wounds received in action, Private Albert James Williams, aged 19, second son of Mr. and Mrs. John Williams, of 3 George-street, Newtown.
