Husband of Beatrice Valler of 'St Elmo', Willard Road, Concord, NSW.

Previously Robert had served in the 4th Battalion of the Royal Fusiliers for eight years.

Commenced return to Australia on 21 July 1917 aboard HT Euripides diesmebarking on 18 September 1917 at Melbourne for onward travel to Sydney.
