Son of Charles Nash Vinall and Ellen Searle Vinall nee Cropley of Derrimut, Victoria.
Marital status at the time of enlistment was given as widower. Charles had married Annie Forbes in 1890c. Annie later died in 1917c.
Next of kin was given as his daughter Ruby Ellen Eliza Vinall of Warragul, Victoria.
Commenced return to Australia on 1 July 1919 aboard HT Frankfurt disembarking on 20 August 1919
