'Pop' Gribble
Pop is our great-grandfather who we remember in his later years visiting him at the aged care facility in Mt Lawley, in the late 70's/early 80's. I was only about 12-13 years old but I can still see picture him in his felt hat and walking stick.
He would always give me and my brothers a 20c piece 'to buy yourself an ice-cream'.
I later learnt that 'Pop' was my Nana's step-father - her Dad actually passed away young and her Mum, married 'Pop' later on.
