Son of Matthew Logan and Mary Theresa Hickey of 'Peep-O'-Day', Nyngan, NSW
Commenced return to Australia on 24 July 1919 aboard HT Bakara. On 4 September 1919 he transferred to Bahia Castillo at Durban for armed guard duties disembarking on 21 October 1919
