2773 Corporal Henry Robert Reynolds, 14th Battalion from East Malvern, Melbourne, Victoria. A 40 year old miner prior to enlisting on 5 July 1915, he embarked for overseas with the 8th Reinforcements from Melbourne on 15 September 1915 aboard SS Makarini. He served with the Battalion at Gallipoli and in France before being seriously wounded in action in May 1918. After having his arm amputated, he was repatriated to Australia, arriving on 26 November 1918.
