Son of Peter and Elizabeth CLARK of 26 Sargood Street, Coburg, Vic.

Went with 'C' Company 15th Battalion 4th Brigade.  Was at the landing at Gallipoli 25 April 1915 and had left arm shattered 6 1/2 days later.  After some time in Mena Hospital, embarked with 99 other volunteers to draw the Turkish fire at rear of Hill 60.  Reported missing after the Lone Pine charge of 8th August 1915
