His brother 3706 Sergeant Eric Kidman was awarded the Military Medal for his bravery demonstrated on the morning of 9 October, 1917 at the Brick Kiln south of Zonnebeke - see his profile 

Lieutenant Roy Kidman was presented with his Military Cross by General Birdwood (UK) on 6 March 1920
