1 May 1915: Wounded AIF WW1, Private, 1014, 5th Infantry Battalion, ANZAC / Gallipoli, BW to head sustained at 400 Plateau. Evacuated to temporary HS Mashobra for Malta however he died of his wounds the next day and was buried at sea.

He is one of 10 Australian casualties of the Great War honoured on the Kettering War Memorial.
