Charlie's true parents

Charles and his immediate siblings were direct descendants to Robert Blackman and Towcha through their father, Thomas, who passed away on his 40 acres farm at aramaroo. There is a collection of documents i have that outlines how Emily (Graham) was helped, Thomas's brother Alfred at Bingera withdrawing his offers of assistance. Emily did for a period reside in Childers. The relationship with Deshong was not smooth sailing. In January 1917, Charles brothers, Alfred and Thomas were farewelled at a meeting at the Queen's Hotel where they were presented with smoking pipes. The Chairman, Monty Parker made a point there was three brothers and that Charles was already serving on the front, having gone some 12 months earlier.

I did locate that land file and in there, a small bit of paper begs the question, could an aboriginal man own land. Before federation, they could. There was no will for Emily to inherit for that was already forbidden. Thomas though, is on an electoral roll.

The lot that Charlie held up north was located.

Emily Graham and Thomas Blackman, Charlie's parents, must have been both Kabi Related.
