Thomas COMINI was born in Ravenswood, Bendigo, Victoria on 30th April, 1893
His parents were Domenico COMINI & Isabella CAMERON who married in Victoria in 1880
He enlisted with the 5th Infantry Battalion on 28th Jul, 1915 and embarked with the 13th reinforcements from Melbourne on the HMAT Demonsthenes on 29th December, 1915 - he returned to Australia on 8th May, 1919 and was discharged on 15th August, 1919 (57th Infantry Battalion - Private)
He left Victoria in 1930 to go to South Australia and run a cafe with his Sister - he also worked for 9 years with the tramways & was originally an orchardist
Thomas died of a heart attack at his sisters residence in Umpherston St. Mount Gambier, SA on 21st May, 1951 and is buried in the Lake Terrace Cemetery in Mount Gambier
