Although at attestation he claimed to have been born in Woolwicch, it is more likely from the birth registration that he was born in Wilmington, near Dartford, Kent.

Emigrated 1914.

Married Laura in Australia, 1 daughter living at Kembla, Ethel Street, Burwood, New South Wales.

Enlistment date-14 January 1915.

Unit name-2nd Battalion, 5th Reinforcement

Unit embarked from Sydney, New South Wales, on board HMAT A55 Kyarra on 13 April 1915.

He was 26 and the son of Son of Jesse & Susannah Beadle.

In Kent, England, he is honoured on the St Paulinus Church Memorial, Bexleyheath War Memorial, Christ Church Bexleyheath War Memorial panels and the Memorial in the Manor House, Crayford.

His death was mentioned in the local, Kent newspapers-
