Biography

"...3474 Private Frederick Arthur Currey, 26th Battalion. A cabinet maker of Brisbane, Qld, prior to enlistment, he embarked with the 8th Reinforcements on HMAT Kyarra on 3 January 1916 . He died of wounds, aged 21, on 7 August 1916 at Pozieres, France. He is buried at Puchevillers British Cemetery." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
