George was born 17th November 1891 in Crystal Brook, Mitchell Queensland.
He died on the 22nd November 1949 at Rolleston and is buried in Springsure.
His parents were MacQuarie and Edith Alice nee Cole.
He is listed on the Honour Roll of the Museum as he was living in Park Ridge at the time of enlistment.

Biography

George took part in Sinai operatins and Romani and all Beersheba operations and all outpost and reconnaisance work as a troop leader. Also took part in operations in the Jordan Valley.
