Add my storyBiography contributed by Geoffrey Gillon
He was 38 and the son of John Drew and Harriet Piggott.
He was awarded the Long Service and Good Conduct Medal.
He is remembered on the Thanet, St Peter, war memorial which stands outside the church of St Peter in Church Street, Broadstairs, Thanet, Kent. It takes the form of a tall Calvary cross on an octagonal podium with the names on a tiled screen with canopy adjacent; beneath the Cross, the four sides contain carvings of coat of arms, crossed keys, royal coat of arms and an Invicta horse respectively.
