Albert George Orr was born 11th July 1897 in Wilcannia, New South Wales, Australia, he was a Shop Assitant before he enlisted in the war. He was the son of John and Anne Orr and was only 18 years old when he enlisted 2nd July 1915. 

Albert died of natural causes in Goolwa, South Australia on August 15 1989 at the age of 92.
