Arthur Norman Minogue - Life
Arthur Norman Minogue was born on15th July 1895 in South Stoneham, Hampshire, England to Beatrice Mary Rogers and an unknown father.
Between 1901 and 1904, Arthur and Beatrice emigrated to Australia and settled in Hay, New South Wales, where Beatrice married John Thomas Minogue on 4th February 1905.
In 1910, Arthur is working as a Grocer's Assistant at "The Ringer" Store in Lachlan Street, Hay, employed by H B McClure.
After the War, Arthur married Bridget (Bridie) Elizabeth Ward on 1st September 1921 in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, where they settled and raised 2 sons, Richard Norman and John Patrick, both of who served during World War II. Arthur and Bridget left Papua New Guinea before the Japanese invasion but returned in 1945 before moving to Sydney in 1950.
