Son of Edward Joseph Wisewould of Jindivik, Victoria. Brother of Frank Wisewould who returned to Australia on 2 June 1919 having served with the 46th Battalion and Harold Wisewould who died of disease on 4 December 1915 while serving with the 23rd Battalion
