"...4161 Private Joseph Wilton Collett, 9th Battalion, of Ulmarra, NSW. A farmer and grazier before enlisting on 31 August 1915, Pte Collett embarked from Brisbane with the 13 Reinforcements on HMAT Kyarra on 3 January 1916. He died of pneumonia at the 5th General Hospital in Rouen on 6 March 1917, having been exposed to gas at Le Barque near Martinpuich, France, on 14 to 20 February 1917.
