Son of Louis Augusta Verryck and Charlotte Theresa Verryck nee Lloyd of Hope Place, Liverpool, Lancashire, England.
Brother of George Thomas Verryck who returned to Australia on 1 June 1918 having served with the 47th Battalion.
Commenced return to Australia from Suez on 22 January 1917 aboard HT Euripides arriving in Melbourne on 21 February 1917
