John Thomson
John on enlistment was the clerk of courts at Nhill ,Victoria australia. He was 34 years of age. His Father John was still alive and he had an adoring Sister Alice, to whom medals etc were forwarded to on his death, I believe he was with a group of men going back to get supplies for there companions, when the enemy lobbed a bomb over and he was killed. He is buried in the Quent Road cemetery. Some of his family have been to see his grave.
