On his WW1 Attestation paper he gave his birth date as 22 December 1899 but there are other conflicting dates of birth.
Son of Charles A. Greenough and Ethel Blanche Greenough nee Kellow of Maud Street, Windsor, Brisbane, QLD formerly of South Lambeth, London, England.
Husband of Jessie Greenough nee Nichols of Armstrong Street, Middle Park, Victoria.
Commenced return to Australia aboard HT Wyeema when it was recalled en route to the Western Front. Disembarked on 21 December 1918 at Melbourne for onward travel to Brisbane.
When he enlisted for WW2 he gave his occupation as Motor Mechanic
