Husband of Pearl Hannah Vickers nee Willsmore of Lang Street, South Yarra, Victoria. Edward and Pearl married on 1 June 1912 in St George Church, Magill, SA.

Commenced return to Australia on 10 July 1916 aboard HT Clan McGillivray

Returned to Australia(second time) aboard HT Ruahine disembarking at Sydney on 5 July 1918
