11 Nov 1915:	Wounded AIF WW1, Private, 1983, 24th Infantry Battalion, ANZAC / Gallipoli, Bomb wounds to both legs and right arm. Right leg later amputated and returned to Australia from Suez for discharge 20th January 1916.
18 Aug 1916:	Discharged AIF WW1, Private, 1983, 24th Infantry Battalion, Discharged due to war injuries, lost right leg.
