Mr. Gilchrist’s name has been inscribed on the Carrington Citizens' Memorial Gates, Carrington Municipal District Roll of Honor and the Carrington Football Club Roll of Honor. Name not inscribed on the Newcastle Wharf Labourers Union Roll of Honor.

I was unsure if Ted’s name had been inscribed at the Gilchrist gravesite as there was too much vegetation (January 2018).

When it was possible to inspect the gravesite, I erected a cross adorned with poppies September 2022 in remembrance of his service and sacrifice for God, King & Country.
