Biography

"..4213 Corporal (Cpl) William Constantine Mayne, 3 Tunnelling Company, of Belmont WA (originally of Christchurch NZ)... A mining engineer prior to enlistment, Cpl Mayne embarked on board HMAT Warilda (A69) on 1 June 1916. On 14 February 1917, he died of wounds received near Hersin France.
