Husband of Caatherine May Eastham of 95 Langridge Street, Collingwood, Victoria; later of George Street, Echuca, NSW
22 June 1918 - he was congratulated by Corps Commander for his gallant action on the16 May 1918 when his courage and presence of mind in seizinghis grit a man wose clothes had caught on fire and by doing so smothered the fire and pevented the man b=from being burnt
