Syd returned home August 1919 sustaining no injuries during his service.
I have not located Mr Duggan’s name inscribed on any known War Memorial or Roll of Honour.
Many thanks to Bernard's grandson Frank Duggan for the notification, and I believe he placed the plaque at Syd’s gravesite.
May this be the inspiration for other WW1 descendants to honour their soldier’s service.
Younger brother George Singleton (Reg No-7224, 4th Bn, born 1885, died 1950) resting at the cemetery in an unmarked grave.
