In WW1, Stanley Currie was based in England during 1917 and then served in France from February 1918 until he was wounded [gassed] in early August 1918. He was then in hospital in England until he embarked in January 1919 to return to Australia.
During WW2, he served in the 19th (VIC) Battalion Volunteer Defence Corps (VDC) in Apollo Bay.
