Son of Thomas BRUCE and Jane Ann nee WHITTAKER, of Yandina, Queensland.
A member of the original Masonic Fraternity in Proserpine - Anderson Lodge Proserpine -(Note Anderson Lodge went into darkness on the 7th March 1917, it is unknown if Bro Bruce joined another Lodge before his death, but he was serving overseas when this happened.)
Mrs. Bruce of Yandina, has received a cable stating that her son, Thomas Allison Bruce, was killed on the 27th ultimo. He was a popular resident and cane grower on Maroochy River.
